今井俊満 略歴
今井俊満は1928年5月6日から2002年3月3日までの生涯を持つ日本の画家で、アンフォルメルの画家として日本とパリで活動しました。京都市生まれ、大阪での少年期を経て、1941年に東京に移り、武蔵高校を卒業。その後、東京藝術大学で学び、フランスに留学してソルボンヌ大学で学ぶ。彼はアンフォルメル運動に加わり、1956年には日本で初めてアンフォルメルを紹介する展覧会を開催。彼の功績は多数の賞と勲章で認められ、1992年には急性骨髄性白血病を発症しながらも、2000年まで活発に創作活動を続けた。2002年、膀胱癌のため死去。彼の子供、アレクサンドルと龍満も画家として活動している。

Imai Toshimitsu – Brief Biography
Imai Toshimitsu was a Japanese artist who lived from May 6, 1928, to March 3, 2002. He was an Informel artist who worked both in Japan and Paris. Born in Kyoto and spending his youth in Osaka, he moved to Tokyo in 1941 and graduated from Musashi High School. He later studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and pursued further studies at the Sorbonne in France. Joining the Informel movement, he organized an exhibition in 1956 introducing Informel in Japan for the first time. His contributions were recognized with numerous awards and honors. Even after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 1992, he continued his artistic endeavors vigorously until 2000. He passed away in 2002 due to bladder cancer. His children, Alexandre and Ryuman, are also active as artists.
