【略歴】
1932年2月、浙江省上虞市で生まれる。
1944年に師匠について絵画を学ぶ。
1948年に上海中華職業学校を卒業。
1952年、20歳の孔柏基は初めて古い雑誌でモネ、セザンヌ、マティスの絵画作品を見て、版画制作を始める。
1956年、上海戯劇学院で教鞭をとる。上海戯劇学院美術部の部長及び准教授を務める。
1964年、孔柏基は農村に下放され、彼の絵画作品はすべて焼失する。
1986年、彼は「日本美術年鑑」に“新進の巨匠”として紹介され、同年アメリカに渡り、19年間帰国しなかった。
Born in February 1932 in Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province. In 1944, he began studying painting under a master. Graduated from Shanghai Zhonghua Vocational School in 1948. In 1952, at the age of 20, Kong Baiji saw paintings by Monet, Cézanne, and Matisse in old magazines for the first time and began creating prints. In 1956, he started teaching at the Shanghai Theater Academy and served as the head of the Fine Arts Department and associate professor. In 1964, Kong Baiji was sent down to the countryside, and all of his paintings were destroyed in a fire. In 1986, he was introduced as a “Rising Master” in the “Japan Art Yearbook” and traveled to the United States the same year, not returning to his home country for 19 years.
